Here follows our Guarantee and Warranty, before all else use your knife with care, common sense and respect, it is not a toy but could potentially hurt you or someone else.
Our Knives & Kukris are carefully developed together with an international team for though conditions and heavy use. A Heritage Knives product is a robust life tool which has skilfully been forged and made to last for a long time.
We use no shortcuts nor compromise on quality, we will take the time needed to make each piece the best we can.
Our blades are fully handmade and the use of
machinery limited to only when absolutely needed,
no shortcuts, only necessity.
Its about staying true to the craft, respecting our heritage and ensuring a high quality.
We test every piece made and ensure each knife we make has the Heritage Knives standard, at par with International Standards.
Heritage Knives want those who use our products to have trust in us and know it will last through all seasons of the year if cared for.
Our Guarantee and Warranty cover only to the products original purchaser and excludes damage caused by abuse, accident or misuse beyond our control.
Products sold under “Clear Out” are sold as is and normally does not fall under our warranty.
Most Clear Out products have been used in product development and tested but not in our regular line of products for various reasons.

If going to do something, do it properly.
Heritage Knives guarantees that each new knife is free from defects in materials, construction and workmanship for 5 years. If the knife is faulty in terms of materials or workmanship, we will repair it free of charge, or exchange it.
Our warranty covers materials and craftsmanship during normal use and does not apply to misuse, intentional damages or any other uses than what is customary and reasonable for a knife. Broken knife tips, discolorations from food, rust spots and/or improper use is not covered.
Please use common sense when using our knives, we expect you to have some decency and basic knife user knowledge before handling a blade from Heritage Knives
or any other company.
Knives as most of us know are not indestructible if you really want to destroy it, thus use care and consideration when handling blades.

Terms of Guarantee and Warranty.
By placing an order from Heritage Knives, the customer accepts the company’s terms and conditions.
Heritage Knives can at any time make changes in these terms and conditions. We are not responsible for any misprints or other web based technical issues that may arise.
If there is an issue it is important that you let us know what is unsatisfactory as soon as possible. Please include your name, address, email and phone number when you contact us.
All Heritage Knives Kukri´s and Knives, unless stated differently, are guaranteed against manufacturing defects.
Our warranty covers materials and craftsmanship during normal use and does not apply to misuse, intentional damages or any other uses than what is customary and reasonable for a knife. The warranty is not transferable and cannot be given to anyone else.
Our warranty is made only to the original owner and no one else. The warranty is limited to the original purchase price paid by the original owner and only for actual direct damages and does not include damages due to stupidity, recklessness or zombies.
Our hilts are normally made with wood or horn which is not an indestructible material and should be oiled from time to time. The blade unless mentioned is forged from new imported high carbon spring steel and will rust if not oiled and maintained.
Care instructions of your Kukri/Knife is given in the Menu and should be followed.

If your knife/Kukri needs to be returned please include return shipping & handling fees and insure the package. Unless the parcel is tracked there is no way of knowing if it has reached Nepal or not, the postal system is not the most reliable in Nepal.
A few images of the problem would be much appreciated so our team can start solving it. If we need the knife back in order to further examine the issue, we recommend that you send it as a traceable parcel. Note that shipping back to Heritage Knives is not covered under our warranty.
If we confirm that it is a warranty issue, we will send you a replacement knife at our expense. In this case we will ask you to send the earlier knife with an issue to us. In certain cases if closer/cheaper for you to send, to one of our Associates in following regions: Asia, Australia & Pacific, North America and Europe.
If we conclude that the knife was damaged due to one of the following reasons:
1) Damage caused by misuse,
2) Failure to care and maintain,
3) Damage due to self-repair, tampering or abuse,
we will send you a repair quotation and charge you for the repair and sending back costs.
